Wow, how could you manage to find those? I can't picture many thrift stores carrying them, let alone giving any of them up for a fair price. You sir are the man.

Not a bad find; I could never actually find a 450 that isn't incredibly expensive. Nice find! :D

Wow, that's really cool! Frankly, I only own the standard 220 remote and 3 button touch pad controller, so I have no idea how crappy that controller is (thankfully), though, from the looks of it, it looks about as fun as reading the entire twilight saga in the middle of an oral exam whilst listening...

There are many more professional CD-i's then there are consumer ones; I don't think a comprehensive list exists. They range from in-house educational to technical demonstrations and anything conceivable in between. Such CD-i's would often be just a component of a system and it would not be immediat...

What are the proffessional CDIs?

What are they, exactly? What can they do? Would they be much better than a regular CDI, or have their obsoleteness ruined their features? Do you have one? Thanks, I'd really love to know! :D

First of all, welcome! Great to see you here too and to hear that you've picked up a CD-i for yourself :) As for my models. I've got a few in the 200 series and a couple of 450's and 470's. I believe the difference between the 470 and 490, is that the 490 has an internal DVC. For the 470 you still ...

Which CDI player do you own?

Self explanatory, which CDI player do you own? If you are lucky enough to own multiple models, just go ahead n' tell me in the comments page which models you own. I, for one, only own the 220 model; what do YOU own?

Once I left hotel mario on for a while without playing it, then played a stage and the sound went all... uh... "weird" on me; only for one stage, though. I'm sure it's a normal problem with most cdi titles... but then again...
