VERY interested in picking up some titles (Like 10 of them!) -- But I'm having a problem PMing you... Can you drop me a line? (We've done business before about a year an a half ago, twice! :)

Problem Fixed!

I saw a picture on these forums actually, that assisted me in repairing the CDI. The drive drawer has to be manually pushed at the very end, but it opens perfectly (actually better), and closes a little sluggish until the final gentle push, and discs load perfect. At least I know how to repair it if...

Let's Try Again....!

I'm still having a problem with my CDI drive tray not working right, but I at least now know what the problem is... The rubber band type thing that opens and closes the tray came loose. I opened up my model 220 and saw it was loose, but my problem now is I don't know exactly where the banding goes. ...

I remember seeing the informerical on US television, and was in total awe. I ended up watching the informercial about 30 times (it aired, literally, at the same time every day on the same station). Now I just wish I had taped it at least once! I eventually got my first CD-i system when it was on fin...

What makes me laugh is that these were USA releases, correct? The highest bidder is from the USA! I can understand that some of the discs could go for a little more than normal. (In the USA, it seems that anything with the Zelda or Final Fantasy names can fetch a lot of money.) But the amount that h...

I don't hear any noise, except when the disc initially loads. It lasts about a second or so, then goes away and loads properly. It doesn't sound like the machine is making any attempt to open the drawer physically, but like I said, the system is recognizing that the drawer is open when open and clos...

CDI 220 Drive Drawer...

Was wondering if anyone out there could help me with my problem. Went to use the system today, and encountered a problem with the drive. (Which is weird because I just used the system this morning with no problem!) The system knows when the drawer is open and closed, but it won't open and close when...

Wow! So it really IS unknown if these games were ever released. (And they planned Shadowgate to boot? Talk about uber sweet!)

I bet ICOM could have done a lot with those games with CD-i. I would have also loved to see a port of Maniac Mansion done. I bet that would have rocked on the system. :)

Deja Vu II...

I've seen this title come up several times over the course of my love for the CDi. (I even remember seeing the game in "coming soon" format in one of the catalogs when I bought my original system, thinking how great it would be, since I loved the original version on my NES.) I keep hearing people sa...

Originals All The Way!

I never could be bothered with downloading the games. Most of the time, my searches come up completely empty anyway, so I just spend the money on the original copies.

Plus, I'm a videogame collector by defualt, so anything to make my physical collection larger is a plus. :)

CD-i Developer Model 605 Question.....

Hey all... I thought that while I was browsing online (aka, wasting time online. Ha!), that I'd ask you guys about the CD-i Model 605. I recently obtained on in a videotape trade. (He wanted episodes of TV shows not airing anymore, he gave me the CD-i in return.) I have the system hooked up, and it ...
