Re: New member? Say Hi!
Hi William, nice to see you back! This forum has some issues with new people signing up, so you're lucky you still have your account! Be sure to check Interactive Dreams once in a while, where we'll continue to feed the CD-i community with CD-i information. How have you been doing?

Unboxing video + testing the Goldstar GPI-1200M portable CD-i player
You might have noticed that Interactive Dreams updated its article database again recently to give some new attention to the CD-i format. I particularly found these movies very interesting, giving a close look at the Goldstar portable player (the same as a Philips 370 player, who licensed the model)...

Promising new list of CD-i games compatible with new CD-i Emulator (yet to be released)
If you collect all the data that is available (lately new additions are on 'the world of cdi ' website, on which CD-i games are tested with beta5 of the CD-i Emulator 0.53, it's really promising: A Great Day at the Races: Not working – Crashes after menu option. Accelerator: Partially working – Cras...

The sketch by Dennis Zopfi on the Lucky Luke disc, found by Shikotei
I think it's nice to have a little more attention to this picture that Shikotei found in the Lucky Luke CD-i contents, apparently it is made by Dennis Zopfi, who is now a lead designer at Guerilla Games. Who knows the story behind these cowgirls? http://www.shikotei.com/tmp/cdi/Lucky%20Luke%20-%20Zo...

Re: Ingame world maps, level maps, map layouts.. and their format
I'm sure that either Devin (if he is ever around) or Omegalfa can help you out. Devin is still hosting the CDinteractive Network with plenty of space. Omegalfa has with djkoelkast The World of CD-i with probably also enough space, but I don't know about that. Once they'll see this, one of them will ...

Re: CD-i development in the 21st Century
A very interesting read, cdifan! Can you elaborate a bit more on your plans with CD-i Base, CD-iZi, the tools to make homebrew development a lot easier? How more realistic is it that this is going to happen? Are you being more active lately on CD-i development like with CD-i Emulator? Years fly by, ...

Hi Rivarossi,
Nice to see you back again! You have quite an interesting collection, especially I like the italian local discs. I've never seen these karaoke discs before for example. Very nice.

CD-i Community dead? Not on Facebook!
It surprised me to find a lot of dedicated CD-i fans out there in various Facebook groups (I'm old fashioned, no problem with that :) ) I highly suggest you to try The CD-i Appreciation Group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/474117622746251/ And thanks to the rise of The World of CD-i: https://...

Re: Sega Genesis/Megadrive controller to CD-i
Nice find Devin! These controllers are far more responsive compared to the CD-i gamepad, I wonder if you would see the difference as well when you hook it up a CD-i player.

Dear Community, please help us to find Discworld on CD-i
Dear community, For more than 15 years we at Interactive Dreams / The Black Moon Project are trying to trace back lost CD-i prototypes. We succeeded in quite a few: Microcosm, Treasures of Oz and The Crow are very remarkable examples of unreleased CD-i prototypes that we found back. One big title is...

Re: Hello everyone!
Hi Luis, It's actually worth a big compliment that your did it! With a countdown timer until April Fools day, it might have turned out differently :) I hope it will get a lot of attention and that the community will live up a bit. I saw that Paul Clarke already signed up, he is a great guy to talk t...

Fan asks for "Philips CD-i Classic Mini", Philips answers: "We will try our best"
"Right then, @Philips, it's time" - Chris Scullion asks on twitter. These retro classic mini consoles are a major success. If Nintendo, Sega, SNK and now Sony can do it: Why can't Philips release a CD-i Classic? He even made an add for it. Amazingly, what I didn't expect, was the answer of Philips: ...

New CD-i article in Retro Gamer Magazine 173 (October 2017)
If you're a Philips CD-i fan you probably noticed that there is very little coverage of CD-i in general. This month is a very exciting month for CD-i fans with a very nice extensive CD-i article in UK Magazine Retro Gamer (For dutch fans: Each magazine store like Bruna or Read Shop can order it, jus...
