Hi guys the drive belt of my phillips CDi 210 player is completly worn out does anybody have any suggestions where to get a new one or what type it is?

It all depends on condition of course and location. Here in Belgiul they are common, I don't know for other countries. In any case I would say 25 without DVC and fifty with

yes old guy in Belgium ( diest). he also had a box with home made vhs
I know this guy who used to have huges stocks of CD-i and he used to sell them to other fleamarket vendors. It was all old stock from Superclub who went broke in the ninetees

Went to a pawnshop today ( it actually looked more like a dump). and there were thousands of audio cds and cdroms most of it very dirty. Suddenly the cdi logo struck my eye. Personally I find that expensive, but I dont know how the prices are in the uk. Here in belgium I wont pay more then 20 euro for one. It doesnt state that the battery is fixed in the auction

I don't think the CD-i was developped with games in mind. I mean phillips had enough experience with game systems. So this player has actually three serial ports? You could use one to back up your game saves to a pc if the battery doesn't function anymore :)
