Here's one theory about the name I found whilst clearing out the Game Spy Forums: "Black moon" is a reference to his satanic background: [ Black Moon Ritual ] Description: This ritual is designed to get people in touch with their shadows and to overcome them. Our fears and depressions are in fact ou...

PONG!

A little extract from the old Game Spy Forums I posted donkeys years ago: Devin: I've always felt the urge to have "PONG" on CD-i. No seriously!! Something simple like this might be an ideal starting point for CD-i programming. It wouldn't be too time consuming the gameplay is understood everywhere ...

CD-i Link 0.5.2 and Stubs now available through ICDIA

Thanks to CD-i Fan who developed these very nice tools to facilitate communication between your PC and CD-i player. You can do lots of stuff with this and generally have a proper play around with the contents of your CD-i player. Upload/download NV-RAM data to preserve those precious save games and ...

Download CD-i Link to get your players ROM

The ICDIA has been updated in preperation for the release of CD-i Emulator. You can now download CD-i Link 0.5.2 and also the CD-i Stub 0.5.1 required by some CD-i players to initiate the program. Both these programs were created by CD-i Fan author of the CD-i Emulator and should further assure you ...

I remember having this discussion with someone else!!

My memory fails as to who it was at the moment but at the time we were talking about creating a website just as a bit of fun that would be complient with the CD-i net on your set disc. Anybody fancy a little side project :D

None of them were mentioned except GO! It was in one of the early issues, they actually reviewed it and by all accounts it was released in Italy (Italian language version). I've only seen the others referred to in a news group posting sometime ago which mentioned Space Ranger and Plunderball. Never ...

Comprehensive Security Update in Forums

Hot on the heels of the previous update i've reserved access to all personal information be it Profiles, E-mail or the Private Message function to registered users only. In theory these updates should make it less likely that this forum will be the target for spamming, at the very least it makes it ...

Forum Security Update in Memberlist

I've just implemented a change in the forums so only registered users can view the memberlist. Previously it was pretty exposed and accessable to automatic spamming using the e-mail tabs, at least this measure makes it more difficult. Please let me know if you come accross any problems with this upd...

CD-Online.co.uk Domain

Thanks to the information from my long time CD-i buddy i've snatched the domain CD-Online.co.uk which is currently directed through the CDinteractive network. This is really cool to me as it's a piece of British CD-i history if only in name alone! Perhaps somebody has some ideas about how to use thi...
