/devin dances the happy dance.

That is such excellent news! Burn:Cycle is THE game that got me in to CD-i so it'd be fantastic to play it in CD-i Emulator finally

Plus I can finally deck out the game page in perfect resolution screen shots! :D

Well in my novice eyes it's a great technical achievement so good on you!

The next milestone in my view is getting a VCD to play, after that a DVC game like Brain Dead 13. If you can get Atlantis working then I'll pack my bags, job done! :D

The Ultimate Goal Achieved

Well it's been a long old road but now that CD-i Emulator can operate Burn:Cycle perfectly ( Read Here ), the ultimate goal of the CDinteractive Support Network has been achieved thanks to CD-i Fan. Is it time to close CDinteractive as I can't imagine any bigger news than this! It just can't be bett...

The reason I want to take a sledgehammer to the internet...

http://mamedev.emulab.it/haze/2009/10/28/cdi-in-review/ Oh look another insightful attempt at CD-i bashing! When will reviewers/bloggers 'get' CD-i became a game machine by accident? Maybe one day they will understand the games released are testament to the ingenuity of the people who developed for ...

Samsung CD-i Players?

Alongside Sanyo and Panasonic (then Matsushita) I found a reference to a Samsung CD-i player. We have evidence that indicates the former two did at least produce prototypes of the hardware but I've never heard of a Samsung CD-i player before. The reference sounds reliable as it lists Philips, Goldst...

What program do you use do burn it with? Everything seems to spit it out when I don't remember having problems before!

I have some discs anyway just can't remember if it is the stub! These discs become unreadable once burnt?

Can't get at the BIOS at the moment, it has an I/O port (very tight fit) but doesn't respond to CD-i Link. Anyway to test the connection is good?

Impressed by the image quality through S-Video, this motivated me to find my SCART to composite cable because most normal CD-i Players lack an S-Video port! Just tried a 220 and the image is really great compared to the standard composite to composite I typically use for my video/screen capture. I'm...

Player Shell Screens

Had a little play with my newly discovered S-Video cable and captured these off a Kyocera CD-i player. http://www.cdinteractive.co.uk/resource/devin/kyocera/kyocera_shell1.gif http://www.cdinteractive.co.uk/resource/devin/kyocera/kyocera_shell2.gif http://www.cdinteractive.co.uk/resource/devin/kyoce...
