I was woundering what would you like to see first : a PONG or FLAME demo or you would prefert to see Basic BALBOA Libs Documentations (Memory, Video, Controls).

@Overdrive_X: That's great news! The more information about CD-i development people can get hold of, the better. Longer term, it'd be great to see some homebrew CD-i stuff, perhaps from some former ST and Amiga programmers. What will your toolkit contain, or do I have to wait and see?! - Ali The to...

Hi, Thanks again for your informative reply. I will be patient and wait for your sample code - I guess you've got more important things (like the emulator) to be getting on with! Once I've got past the "hello world" stage, I'm planning on attempting a freeware remake of an 8-bit classic, something ...

Without seeing your player and opening it up, it's hard to determine what exactly is the problem. The safest bet would be to replace the NVRAM or try putting a new battery in the NVRAM (=chip surgery). Thank for you help. I am going to get someone to, try to put in a new battery in the NVRAM, and i...

Re: Philips 220/37 cd drive problem
*edit* Oops sorry, I just noticed that I should have posted this in the Tech thread.* I just got my Philips CD-i 220/37 in the mail today and to my disappointment the cd drive seems to be messed up. The system was shipped to me in its original box and packaging and seemed to be pretty well packed. ...

Not surprising because SONY are going for the low profile release, heaven knows why!?! It looks amazing, on par with anything the XBOX can throw out in terms of graphical power. Check out a review here . My friends at ebgames gave me the demo disc on ps2 a couple of month ago. Really cool game, Ps2...
