I bought some titles from someone on the "CD-i Marketplace Sell/Trade/Buy".

A few posts earlier I mentioned "Golden Oldies Jukebox". It came a couple days ago in the mail. Really enjoyable...anyone else think it is sorta like that "Pop Up Video" show that aired on VH1 some years later?

Hello. Just curious if you can ship to Australia? There's around 5 titles of interest to me (plus the 3 "for demonstration only" discs) and if you can ship to Australia I'll send a private message making an offer (but to be honest, I am uncertain as to the value of several of the items in question).

I also totally disagree with you on edutainment dragging it down. Yes, it's not for us 'true' gamers, but put a child in front of a CD-i and let them have an interactive 'clicky' adventure, and they'll have a great time! CD-i is one of the best systems for kids to get into contact with gaming in my...

I just won "Caesars World of Boxing" on eBay. Went for a whopping £1.99 (or $3.11 in Australian money. For comparison, a can of Coca-Cola or Pepsi costs $AU2....)

worthwhile keeping them or just chucking them away
Why chuck them away? Sell them, trade them, give them to a random stranger walking down the street wearing a fedora and whistling an off-key rendition of the theme from "The Addams Family". Just don't throw them out.

When the Deities feel like some gaming, they play the Sega Saturn. In fact, Planet Earth was gonna be destroyed so they could build a parking lot to park their DeSoto, 57 Chevy, and Packard cars while visiting the lovely Planet Jupiter, but after playing "Baku Baku", "Bug!", and many others, they de...

I really hope to get a copy of "Connect Four" soon and I have no idea why. Maybe it's something I ate? There are plenty of far better things I could buy.

It doesn't really count, but the GameBoy Advance had a couple films released for it, put on GBA cartridges. Part of a series called "Game Boy Advance Video". Clever name. I don't know about the picture quality, but I got two GBA cartridges with TV episodes on them, and the encoding is very poor. So...

I bought "Time Life Photography" and "Golden Oldies Jukebox" on eBay a couple days ago. Both sound very interesting. I also wanted to get "Alien Gate" but I didn't quite have enough money to get all 3. As usual, I couldn't find a copy of "Managing Your Boss" or "Money At Work" for sale... My main co...

We should open a museum for the cd-i :) Don't look at me for any help just yet, I'm still new to this thing!! I do wish I could find some shows or films that feature a CD-i as a prop in the background, but for which the show or film isn't well known enough for someone to really notice. I was once w...

If the game was in monochrome, using a red/orange colour scheme, with a frame-rate of 2 frames per a second, being played on a bad LCD TV that causes excessive digital artifact problems....the graphics would still be far better than the gameplay.
