The CD-i can play burned games, although certain models are more picky than others.

Re: CD-i vcd's not on dvd

Are there any vcd titles that have yet to appear on DVD? Also, are there any w/any extras? For example, one of my James Bond vcd's has an informational booklet similar to the ones that the dvd releases got years later. The Star Trek ones (at least the 3 I own at present) seem to have info booklets ...

Movies I'm thinking of buying or trading for ...

If anyone has the 1st, 3rd, and/or 4th Star Trek film(s) on CD-i vcd and might be willing to sell, please post a comment, shoot me a pm, or both. (complete w/the cases would probably be nice, but I don't need the outer sleeves)

Yet another post I'm bumping to comment on what a big difference the 3 button controller makes when compared to the pad ... Before the controls were awkward, stiff, and I couldn't get them to work consistently. But now, the game controls like the other versions I've played, which is great! :) I coul...

When games don't play as good as they look

Caesar's World of Boxing

Seriously, is this game anything more than a mindless button masher w/little strategy wrapped up in nice graphics? I think the eye candy helps distract from the limited gameplay.

I think you misunderstood. I like the Mario series as a whole. But there a few games I dislike in the franchise, such as the bland "Mario Party DS", and the slightly less awful puzzler "Mario & Yoshi", which has nice graphics and sound, but I can't stand the annoying, frustrating gameplay. Ahh, I d...

Also, do you have the US version? I remember having problems recording the intro because it had Dutch subtitles by default (it has a subtitles language selection in the options menu). Nope, my version has the ELSPA British ratings. I have to turn the subtitles on manually via the options menu too. ...

Really? That's cool! I didn't think any of the old lightguns worked w/newer tv's. I may have to hunt one down now & test it w/Mad Dog.

So, what is it about other Mario games that you can't stand?

Btw, I'm gonna download Wrecking Crew now. I've had my eye on it for a while, but the possible Hotel Mario similaraties has me sold.
