yes! but good times are heading ;)
Ooooh sounds intriguing, any hints on what your planning this time?

As for the technical issue, it makes sense to assume that the laser wouldn't be used for something not disc orientated, but as I admit im no full on techy so i could be totally wrong.

I was mainly wondering if this could be used to take the signal from a CD-i, via say a S-video connection for instance, and then using the output for the device create a more stable signal for a DVC or similar device for then captururing images/video as my previous results with a standard s-video co...

Most of the videos onlien for Most CDi games, that ive seen anyway, are just the cutscenes and not actual in game footage, I thinkt he onyl exception being Escape From Cyber City, and as for the animation, I dont actually think its THAT horrible, just look at some of the original animations for most...

Please by all means go ahead and actually try to make one yourself, and if you feel that the exact hardware emulation is the wrong way to go around it, well you might aswell end up just hardcoding and basically porting every game and title ever released for the CD-i yourself from scratch and then do...

I can see why it could possibly be mistaken for a SNES/NES controller based on the generic layout of the buttons and such, but still it doesnt look like what its claiming to be, i mean my old PC joypad should be a "Sony SNES" controller as it has the exact same layout/shape/design, eaven though Sony...

I ahve actually seen a few really old PC games with the CD-i tag on the cases before, i think they might not have been aware of the fact that it was actually its own format or not that or they didnt distinguish the difference between the differences between PC and the Philips CD-i formats.
