wondering what other hobbies or interests you guys have besides collecting and playing CD-i (or other videogames).

My main interest at the moment is fixing up and driving my car. Recently bought a japanese 84 Toyota Sprinter Trueno and I've been investing most of my spare time and money fixing it up and get it road legal. Which is why I haven't updated my CD-i collection in a while.

My main interest is body building, It's something that I've been interested in for a long time but never competed or had the time to put the hours in to get to that level. Obviously that's something I would change if I could.

I also collect for other systems as well, everything from spectrum - neo geo.

I love movies and music as well, I have a wide selection from dance/electronic to rock.

Electronic music (aphex twin, gridlock, proem, kettel), maintaining, grow and enjoy our garden outside, swimming, history (reading about it), contributing column writing, and ofcourse other videogames ;)

CD-i is still a part of it I guess because I was there since day 1 and because I still have good contacts with people involved with the format. The history of Philips I found very interesting and CD-i will always be a part of it. The reason it was not broadly covered on the internet made us start with Black Moon anyway :)

Outsde of CDi, I tend to mix listenign to music, digital art, rock climbing, swimming and teaching A martial art 3 nights a week.

Thanks to the last 3 of those activities I am currently training to try to get on the JISC register ... aka have started training to try to become a British stuntperformer/stuntman, thus the lack of activity on here recently, been too busy being outside teaching, exercising and the like haha.

wow some of you guys are really active. which martial art do you teach tgn_rogue? I used to do Tae Kwon Do and enter tournaments as a kid but I quit when I reached blackbelt. Also have had a few shaolin and wingchun lessons. If I wasn't so dam lazy I'd take up Jeet Kune Do now.

I used to do Tae Kwon Do aswell years ago when i was about 8, but Istopped at about orange belt though. Although over the years I have also done some Judo as my nan was an instructor so Iw as taught the self defence side of it since i could walk to protect me from bullies, I then took up Ninjutsu for a few months, untill my instuctor went to America, not sure if he actually came back or not nd then went on to do Tai Ji Quan (the actual martial side of Tai Chi) when I was about 14/15 and then stopped for a year for and then found Aikido, which I ahve been doing for the last 8 years, wow it doesn''t seem so long since I was just a beginner .

I just passed my Shodan (1st dan/degree black belt) at the end of 2008 and passed my National Coaching lvl 1 qualification in February of this year, although have been assisting in teaching for the last year or so, and been the demonstration dummy for the last 6 years. have onyl done 1 competiton, my firts, chucked in at the dep end in a Nation competition, agianst peoepl who have trained with the national squad. Was a great eye opening experience mind.

Since all that ive just been milling aound helping out in the clubs and starting training to get into stunt work haha, just got the video and photos on DVD from the high fallign day I did in Feb aswell, jumping/diving off of a 30ft scaffold into an airbag, great fun.

Also if any wants to check out postal gold to see if they can get some extra cash to boy games (I know it came in handy for me for some old school retro bargains I managed to find on ebay) its worth a look.

Also seeign as I now know of, and live about 30 min walk from the local SCUBA diving centre, and I'm looking at doing diving for one of my Stunt Register qualifications, I'll possible also be visiting them in the not too distant future :D.

Outside of video games, computers, movies, and CD-i (which I guess includes bits of the previous three), mine are: vintage television shows, cantilever bridges, soft drinks, I've been getting into anime/manga (hence the username), also I have a dream to bring back Art Deco as more than just a novelty...

Twilight Zone has to be one of my favorite older tv shows. The story telling is amazing.

My favourite episode of "Twilight Zone" would be "Twenty Two", one of six episodes to be shot on tape instead of film. In this case it adds to the eerie effect.
