Sorry! Inkling is just an English expression for "had the feling".

Simple question first, have you placed the ROM inside the CD-i Emulator ROM folder? If not just copy and paste it from it's current location into that specified CD-i Emulator directory and it should detect it automatically.

If not then let us know the size of the ROM file you uploaded from the CD-i player and also try doing the info command again with the following using Stub CD.

cdilink -n -info

The name of the .rom file is not really important, unless you have more then one or are using the -model option. In all other cases, CD-i Emulator will try to autodetect the rom type.

I gather that your player is a CD-i 200? What is the exact model (slash number, etc; usually found on the back of the player)?

You talk about -n, but that is a cdilink option, not CD-i Emulator. Does it work? If not, it may be that with a little configuration file tweaking this ROM could be made to work...
