Okay, what CD-i player are you using also let us know the command line you entered and if you used a Stub CD or not.

i'm using a cdi-220 player with the cdistub cd 0.5.1.

if i run the cd then it display only a turquoise color.

The turquoise color is normal; on older models this is the "default" state of the display (when no application has it open).

Your initial connection apparently works; otherwise you wouldn't get the 000087CC line. But after that it stalls; apparently the stub responses aren't getting back to cdilink.

This could be something with the cable or perhaps the baudrate, or you could be using the wrong command line. I gather from the output that you used -i (interactive); does it work with -info?

the interactive function does work. but there don't display the needet results. sometimes this abort by to many results. i dont know whats wrong.

i'm using the commands from the cdilink.txt with the baud rate cdlink 19200.

It could be the baudrate, if your cable is too long or the player or PC too slow...

I've found that using 9600 baud generally works best; 19200 seems to hang with some player types... This may also depend on your serial hardware and/or Windows version, of course...

That means turn the power button off and then back on again. Booting up the player initiates the Stub process on some players whilst others need the Stubs CD.

i have created a stub cd. .

what can i do to download the roms from the player ?

Okay with your CD-i player turned off and connected through the Null-Modem Cable type the following command.

cdilink -roms

If it asks to reset the player do it and that should initiate the upload, simply wait for about 5 - 10 minutes then it should arrive in your cdilink folder.

Doesn't work? Then try the following, using the Stub CD this time turn on your CD-i player but don't activate the "Play CD-i". First type the following command.

cdilink -n -roms

Now play the Stub CD in your CD-i player and it should hopefully work! The -n part prevents cdilink from downloading of stub program because the Stub CD already takes care of that.

Let us know how you get on.

hm i have run the command cdilink -roms and start the cdi. but the cdilink display only "Waiting for stub..."

i have try the command cdilink -n -roms and it download the roms after i have run the cdi stub cd. but all other commands does not work. and the cdiemu cannot recognize the rom because i things the cdi type don't contain the name cdi000x.rom and vmpega.rom
