Escape from Cyber City

Not being able to play this game is the only thing stopping me from buying the emulator
Why won't it play and what work needs to be done?

why won't it play.... I think that's a question even CD-i Fan asks himself a lot.

Poor poor battleships
doesn't really work either. But some people have been able to. Is there a way to skip scenes etc. using the debugger?

It needs a DVC, which is not emulated (yet).

Escape from Cybercity does NOT need the DVC

Are you sure? I know the back cover doesn't say that a DVC is needed, but when I tried it once on a player without a DVC, it did not start.

To add, I think (but I'm not sure!) the DVC wasn't even introduced when Escape from Cybercity hit the market!

It most certainly doesn't need DVC! I remember distinctly only having to buy DVC when that crazy game Litil Divil came out - I was at the ripe old age of five years old and was disappointed for months until my parents got me one for doing well at school
I live in constant envy of this man:

And I will still not rest until I complete it.
And in answer to your question, I'm using my neato 910 Rom
the CDI-Link was flawless.
