CD-i Bits - Blog about CD-i Emulator development and stuff

CD-i Emulator is the first fully evolving windows compatible emulator project of the Philips CD-i system. Discuss the emulator, compatibility issues, seek help and support to get the program operating and post what you'd like to see in future revisions of the program. CD-i players ROM (BIOS) requests, begging and links will not be tolerated. Otherwise feel free to post your thoughts on this amazing new piece of software.

CD-i Bits - Blog about CD-i Emulator development and stuff

Post by cdifan » Tue Nov 03, 2009 12:06 am

I have recently started blogging about my CD-i related activities: CD-i Bits.

Expect information about the development of CD-i Emulator and related software and anything interesting CD-i related that I want to share.

Great news! CD-i is back in business it seems! You know I'm no expert in the technical CD-i coding but I appreciate all the updates very much around our beloved obscure CD-i system :)

That seems obvious from the speed with which you spread the word anytime I drop a little something somewhere :)

Oops, I did it a again. Let's see how quick you are this time

Okay, that was quick. I posted on the MESS forum on 08:22, hinted at it here on 08:24 and you announced on Interactive Dreams on 09:28. That is, assuming all clocks are properly in sync, a turnaround of about 1 hour.

Very good, Bas, I see you're really on top of things! :P

Just kidding a bit.

Edit: I'm of course referring to my consideration of a quick v0.5.3 release of CD-i Emulator...

Just you wait until I start reporting on the news you reported then you can report on the news that I reported you reported... I think!

Bas, perhaps you could summarize my CD-i keyboards post instead of repeating it in it's entirety?

Is it okay if I summarise the report that Bas summarises then Bas can report on the summary that I summarised after he's summarised the report that you reported on the blog or should I simply report on the report you reported but only summarise the report then Bas can either summarise the blog report or my report that has been summarised in anticipation of a further summarised report?

I think the summary result of all the summarizing would be something like this:

this is why some people don't read forums and stick to the blog  - but anyway, most of the time I'm too lazy to summarize 8)
