I remember a small version and a large version...
there were more? (like, built in versions or expansion-dvc?)

I know the CD-I 220 takes the large DVC (At least mine does)

200/57 and lower need the large version (22ER9141)
220/60 to 220/77 need the small version (22ER9956)
220/80 and higher have the small version built-in

I need the 22ER9141/20 I've found some in London but £17 shipped for a unboxed example is way to much.

I also found a 22ER9141/37 for sale, whats the difference between /20 and /37 with the exception of being a later revision?

FYI - I'd like to pay £10 shipped at the most for one.

I know there's a "smaller" version of the DVC on eBay right now (that's how I got mine for my 450; the seller had three). I am not certain what your model uses though.

Thanks for the heads up Austin, I need the larger one unfortunately - I've got a couple of the smaller ones :)

LOL! Bummer! It was the other way around for me recently--I could only find the large ones!

Funny how it works, eh? Anyways, best of luck man! I know (from looking) they pop up on eBay every now and then!

There's no difference as far as I know, it's not even a later revision (both are Phase 2 hardware), there could be a software version difference but I doubt it.

This one is in the US but ships worldwide. Currently on auction (not Buy It Now) with one bid at $8 USD. It looks to be complete:

If the link for some reason does not work, it's item # 220863477132. Due to end in about four days.

Nice one, it looks really nice shape as well.

A USA mpeg decoder should work with a pal cdi player right?

I don't know but I'd think it would. Asides from the decoder it's basically just extra RAM, right? :)
