Did you know...

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Did you know, in the CD-i game "Dark Castle", when you play the game on December 25 (Christmas), a christmas tree will appear in the foyer?

No I didn't know that! This is the one game I keep forgetting to pickup for my satsh of CD-i games.

At least now it's slightly higher on my 'Games of Interest' list!

Gah, I always wanted that game when I was younger. My mom wouldn't let me buy it because the clerk said it was very scary. :(
It's like 1993 all over again!

Haha it's scary because it's so bad! Probably the worst CDi game!

Yeah, you're probably right about that, the controls are bad.... If only the buttons were a little more responsive and the framerate was a bit higher.... It's a shame though, the story and backgrounds look interesting....
