What was the first CD-i game that was released on the market

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

?

I think one of the oldest titles on CD-i is the telecity disc or time-life photography (1990?) but what was the first game?

I agree with King, I can't find a game with a catalogue number lower than Palm Springs' (0013)

the first games were probably released in 1991...

If you look at the catalogue numbers, what about Battle Ship or Jigsaw?
Palm Springs was indeed a launch title in the US, perhaps it's the very first one...

Battleship is 0033 and Jigsaw is 0029. Heres an article that talks about Palm Springs before the CD-i was commercially released http://www.cbronline.com/news/why_phili ... l_be_a_hit
