Magic Card CD-I/Arcade system?

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Magic Card CD-I/Arcade system?

Post by cdoty » Sun Mar 22, 2009 5:04 am

I was just reading through the MESS forums, where they were discussing MAME supporting Magic Card, which runs on a modified version of the CD-I system.

Here's a quote from the .130 what's new:

Fixed colors, visible area and soft resets in the Magic Card 68k
version. Started to convert the Magic Card 68k version driver with
proper infos & added some basic video registers. It actually runs on
more or less modified Philips CD-i architecture. [Angelo Salese]

The title, in the source code, is MAGIC CARD - IMPERA

Hey Charles, interesting find, although I'm not sure what it means! What does it mean?
