My CD-i vids

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

My CD-i vids

Post by Seb » Mon Apr 05, 2010 7:46 pm

Since some of you seem to like these and since this is the main CD-i forum, I'll just post the new video's I make that are related to CD-i. Feel free to comment and give me any feedback on improvements or pointers. I'm not as knowledgeable on CD-i as some of you here, so if something I say is off, please let me know too :)

Anyway, here's my look at Zenith:

Just watching some of your back log of episodes! Tuning in to Mutant Rampage, that sketch your own doodle? :D

I love this game, although rough around the edges it shows such promise (TWO PLAYER!). Humour is good as well in the silly enemy animations.

Haha, my father used to sketch those things up for fun. He has no idea what the games are like, so it's all free interpretation from the box and maybe some screenshots. We've stopped doing that though, it was to much of a hassle to get those in on time and such.

Hope you don't go to deep into my back catalog, I'm not to proud of my older stuff :D.

Thanks guys, it's just a little hobby, so don't expect real quality!
Also I did some non CD-i games in there from time to time.
I'll be adding more as I've got the time, and I'll put an update here once I do. Thanks for watching

It's been a while, but here is a new video from me to share:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PyI2y3qIPo

I go over CD-i Pinball and Plunderball. Let me know what you think!

At the moment I'm also playing through the Apprentice in its entirety on my channel and uploading a stage a day with commentary with tips and random stuff (really not to much thought put into it, so don't expect to much quality). I do use cheats, as I could never hope to complete that game in the 'fair' way, it gets so frigging hard! It is fun to play through it again though, well for the most part at least (really don't like the ice and toy towers very much).

Thanks guys.

I've started working on a new one today finally. I will also soon make a video on Joe Guard, something I've promised to do for a while now, sorry about all the delays!

Oh you. Making all my attempts at CD-i reviews seem pointless, because you've already done them... Oh well.

Christmas Country review (best game on CD-i)

Wacky World of Miniature Golf review (worst game on CD-i, maybe)

Hey there Protoman! It's never pointless to make a video review and share your opinion, especially not when they're so well done! I enjoyed watching those two and seeing a different opinion on Christmas Country. I do hope you'll do more of these :)

Finally I make something CD-i related again :)
I've promised Bas I'd make a video about Joe Guard for over a year now, so it's about damn time I came through with it.

I take a look at the prototype game Joe Guard and show you some of the gameplay of both levels.

You can find my video of it here: http://www.glitched-out.com/admin/joe-g ... -prototype

I will upload it to YouTube later this week.

Bas, again thanks for sending me the image!
I've put the image up for download so others can enjoy it too, I hope you're alright with that. If not, let me know, and I shall remove it.
