New game found!!

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

New game found!!

Post by Alan_Eng » Mon Oct 01, 2012 8:02 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm delighted to report that I've found a new cd-i game! Last week I bought a French cd-i called ''Peugeot 406 - En Vale De Loire''. This is a fantastic cd-i where you can explore the car and then go for a scenic tour around France.

But the best part of the disc is obviously the game. It is a quiz / board game for 1-4 players. Multiple choice questions. Answer correct and you advance round the racing circuit. If you're lucky a joker appears and you can advance further. Haven't played it much yet but I think you can end up in a pitstop. Also, the difficulty of the question determines how far you move.

I'm going to try and open one of those on-line photo sharing accounts where I'll post some screenshots and instruction manual pics.

I love the French - they bought us Gobliins on ADI CM2 & CE2, and the game on Un Indien Dans La Ville. And now this new game :D

Best wishes to you all.

Alan

That's pretty awesome!
I actualy drive a Peugeot 306 sedan and I really like the 406 (mainly due to the Taxi movies haha).
But I guess the game is in french, right?

Nice to hear your feedback! Yes it is in French but multiple choice. I'm not signed up for youtube but I may do this... A new game for 2012 :D

It's always nice to find a new game! Do you know much about this release?

I'm thinking it could have been a promotional disc at Peugeot maybe as opposed to a commercial release?

Looking forward to seeing some pictures and videos :-) (it would be good to see the art work on the box/case and disc too :-)

P.S. OT, but when you've signed up to a photo sharing site be sure to upload some pictures of your entire collection too!
