Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Can you email me the video? Using Gmail you can mail over 50 MB, we can host it on our site, that would be awesome!

Another thing to look for, a Burn:Cycle sweater. I do have a Rise of the Robots T-shirt though :)

"Instead of the traditional box, we thought outside it for this groundbreaking
movie-game introduction," says Howard Lim, president of HOW Studios. "The
three-point format dazzled buyers, and we got the product on their shelves."

"Remember when movies on VHS were all the rage?" asks Howard Lim. "We
ushered in the era of these powerful little CDi's - now known as DVDs - and
helped change consumer thinking from rectangle to round."

With many thanks to Howard Lim. Designed by How Studios:

This is a promotional copy of Burn:Cycle I picked up from RW, it was supposedly given out to journalists or other media types. It includes the sleeve pictured above, a regular CD jewel case with the "Mission Briefing" manual from the American release, Game CD which is plain silver on both sides and also a cardboard insert outlining the game and a "Suggested Demonstration" which perhaps indicates this was in fact a limited promotional release. The insert details the pricing at $59.98 and package including a seperate audio CD soundtrack which I find interesting because this was limited to the initial launch of Burn:Cycle in America whereas the European version had the audio CD as standard.

I've seen those on eBay before, something like the european 'Sampler Pack', the one in a blue carton box. Another nice find Shroo-man, how come you're collecting all CD-i stuff lately?

I got that one about half a year ago, but its true I have been collecting a lot recently. Its just very interesting for me there is so much different rare/strange/unique/obscure things out there for CD-i. now I have more Philips stuff than I do Nintendo and Sega. I have spent a lot recently though so I probably will not get anything else for a while my savings recourperates and also I will slow down in my posts. Without doubt I have spent more money on my CD-i collection than anything else, those pounds and euro really are expensive for me. It cost me 80 euro just for the schtroumpfs game, cheaper than Zelda's Adventure but still a lot of money. I still have more CD-i stuff but I don't want to show everything - I should keep my stuff to myself like a normal CD-i collector
