Tom & Tim

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Tom & Tim

Does anyone know who was responsible for this? This was the only title which was covered on the 1996/1997 demo disc but never saw the light of day...
I'd like to find out more about it.

Is this related to "Tim & Beer"? These were done by Valkieser, I think...

Quote from http://www.graphistes.enligne-fr.com/mi ... rZsJq8TCuS

"Hachette > Interfaces pour la série ludo-éducative "Atout Clic" et création graphique de plusieurs niveaux du jeu "Tom & Tim""

which leads to:

which has an e-mail adress.

Not sure if that's the same game.. This Tom&Tim seems to have some sort of 3d engine of some sorts (similar to burn cycle it seems, but then with 3d rendered kids stuff).. kind of weird, but looks great!

The Tom & Tim preview also shows some sort of 3d-environment (pre-rendered of course), so it could be a first concept or part 1 in the series.

No no, it has nothing to do with Tim & Bear.

Tom & Tim was one of the first 3d (silicon..) cartoon series for children, broadcasted on BBC's Fun Factory i think.

An interactive version on cd-i (perhaps cd-rom also?) was previewed on the demo disc...
