If you remember, every time you select a level in Hotel Mario it would show a black screen and then display something like, "Morton Koopa and his creepy pals are waiting for your arival!" And then a couple seconds later it would display one of the above messages based on your CD-I player clock, with "Here We Go" being the default one.

Heh... I remember playing this game close to Christmas many years ago and I got this message. When my mother saw the message "Happy Holidays" she completely freaked out! This was before we had a modern computer with an internal clock mind you, so the idea that the CD-I "knew" what day it was really scared her. She even called tech support to find out what was going on!
