FS: Philips CDi-605T Professional CDi player
FS: Philips CDi-605T Professional CDi player
Philips CD-i 605T. Professional developer CD-i player, including SCSI/Parallelport/Ethernet and Motion Video Cartridge extension cards. In very good functional and cosmetic condition. The tray drawer squeaks a little when opening/closing, but works fine. If you have the proper grease this is easily silenced.
5 MB RAM, floppy drive, 2x serial port, Video/Svideo/stereo audio/RGB, NTSC/PAL compatible. Front headphone connection with volume control.
But you're supposed to know all that, as CDi experts . If not: http://www.icdia.co.uk/players/professional.html is a good place to start.
Comes with as good as new Thumbstick remote control type 22ER9051.
I include the Technical Documentation for CDI 605T users. System Software Release 1.3. This 100 page manual explains descriptors, technical characteristics, serial port/input devices/floppy specifications, extensions, and much more.
Price: make me an offer by PM.

OK, player is still up for grabs! Shipping this heavy machine costs a lot so please take this into account when you're interested.
People in Belgium, Luxemburg or the Netherlands shouldn't have much of a problem though, it's outside the Benelux that costs rise disproportionally.
Any other takers? No budding CDi programmers that want a developer machine?

LAST CHANCE!
OK, last chance, if no-one is interested I will start selling it in parts (manuals, expansion board, MV cartridge, drive and remote) as I do have some interested people for those.
I'll be getting out my welding cutter next friday, so let me know by then.

With Belgian mail: too much (52 Euro). They are a bunch of thieves, not enough differentiation between weights (you can send 10 to 20KG for the same price so you end up paying for 20KG all the time). Seamail is no longer available, all goes by economy airmail.
However, I'm travelling to the Netherlands to post a bunch of packages somewhere next week (selling a lot on Aniway.nl, small stuff mainly and this saves money for Dutch buyers).
Shipping by TPG Post to UK is then a bit cheaper: 30 Euro.
Remember, this thing weighs nearly 8.5 KG without packaging... Properly wrapped it's just over the 10 KG limit. (below 10 KG it would be 24 Euro, not that much of a difference) That's why I suggested people from the Benelux - even Germany - should have a look because shipping to those countries is much more acceptable.
And for interested parties from those countries, shipping costs are:
- Netherlands: 11 Euro
- Germany (if ordered and paid for by Thursday, I'm travelling to Germany then): 9 Euro (sent by Hermes Courier)
- Belgium: 11 Euro
- Luxemburg: 20 Euro
All other countries in Western Europe: see UK shipping.
