Batter Up - ABC Sports / Fathom

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Does this exist? What is this? Or is it just another name for ...

Did Fathom and ABC Sports produce them together, or is the one the owner of the other...?

I assume it's just the working name for:

"ABC sports presents: Power Hitter"

Now this one is an interesting question and something I came across whilst writing the CD-i section for Digital Press Advance.

As far as I can tell Batter Up was the "working title" for Power Hitter, think it was Gir that provided me with information concerning the catalogue code of both games being identical. So presumably the name Batter Up was dropped in favour of Power Hitter. Another interesting point is that this software was rereleased complete with new stats in a "1993 Revision" edition.
