Layman info about development tools

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Hi,

I'd also like an explanation!

As far as I can tell, MediaMogul was an application that allowed the generation of very basic CD-i titles, more for doing semi-interactive presentation-type material than anything else - and Balboa is a set of run-time libraries, providing useful routines that CD-i programmers could make use of when programming a CD-i title in C.

However, both of the above may be wrong!
