Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Samsung CD-i Players?

Post by Devin » Mon Nov 09, 2009 12:45 am

Alongside Sanyo and Panasonic (then Matsushita) I found a reference to a Samsung CD-i player. We have evidence that indicates the former two did at least produce prototypes of the hardware but I've never heard of a Samsung CD-i player before. The reference sounds reliable as it lists Philips, Goldstar (LG), Sony and Kyocera as manufacturers of CD-i players. The latter two are certainly not common so it would seem they know their stuff!
