sony player

Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

Just a CR2032 battery that you can insert in a trap door opening underneath the player.

Although to save the saves when replacing the battery It'll probably need to be connected to the mains.

this will probably seem like a really dumb question, but does that mean i'll have to modify it in any way?

any idea on the systems battery life?

No, no modification is necessary! It was built well, just a shame it lacks a DVC.

However long a CR2032 lasts depending on the make.
