Amiga Sites

Post by Devin » Sun Aug 28, 2005 4:21 pm

Anyone know a decent Amiga site, specifically i'm looking for some advice on HD installation on an A600. Like to visit some of my old adventure games including Monkey Island, Indiana Jones but don't think I can face the numerous disk swap business!!

Yes, i've been musing over Flashback for the Amiga...out of all the numerous versions i've played the good old Amiga stands out as the most accomplished for Music and Animation in my opinion.

The CD-i conversion was just horrible, 3DO included ROCK music to my utter horror and I hated all the other versions i've tried so far. Do you know if the Megadrive game did the franchise justice?

what do you want to know about Amiga HD installations.
If u are just wanting to play the Amiga games and not too bothered about using an Amiga you could look into getting the emulator UAE and download the games.

You have also got me thinking the Lucas adventure games can be played on quite a few different consoles thanks to SCUMMVM a translator for the games. Wouldnt it be good if someone made a CDI version of SCUMMVM to play them on the CDI

Yeah ! 8) I am talking with one person who works in CVS scummvm about to make a CDi port.

PD:
The conclusions are:
1.- Posiblity to "remake" amiga port (because the procesator are 68k) but unknow graphic processor.
2.- Need a dev. machine or emulation (CDIemu in the future)
3.-Time :D
