When does Christmas begin?
When does Christmas begin?
So when does Christmas actually start in your book?
I'm the poor sod that has to drag a couple of tons of turkey around and distribute it to the various stores we supply!! In a way it's already beginning for me

In some countries, have diploma is similar to no have it. I spain i see physician delivering pizza's and computer experts working in a mcdonalds...Bas wrote: With your diploma, aren't you looking another job?
look the foregin people, irakians with diploma working on cleaning glass and a 2 years school was the CEO of a important telecomunication business...
Well I used to have what people refer to as a "Proper Job" but put simply that job using my Diploma didn't pay and probably won't until i'm old and wrinkly!!
So now I work for loads a money doing a job with ZERO stress, plenty of exercise and fresh air. I have to say since I decided to change vocation i've only had an ill spell once in over two years and really believe it's because i'm not couped up in an office environment. No regrets really and my Diploma is always behind me, also unlike some friends i've now actually paid off my student debt as well
Another example I heard recently where a friend of the family just finished University and got her first job with the National Health Service using her diploma and working in a specialised department... how much does she get paid a year, less than £5,000. Barely enough to survive and for all that education as well, absolutely ridiculous.
Before you ask I was one of the last batch that had a free education which was the main reason I did it. The debt was due to... how should I put it... expenses

The 5th? It's the 6th in Belgium! Well, I guess he can't do both countries on the same day. What do you expect at his age...
My little girl will become two years old this year, and I enjoy living my experiences with Sinterklaas and Christmas as a kid again through her eyes. So for me it's only starting now, looking through the different little booklets that came in the mail, trying to find the right present for her. I wanted to buy her a CD-i player, but my wife didn't agree...

HOLY FIRST-POST, BATMAN!
I voted; "When I open the first window on my calendar"
As that's genereally when I first get that 'christmassy' feeling, y'know?
I loves Christmas I do, Christmas day especially, kicking back with the family just watching a film or playing a game or two after dinner is about the only time none of us argue and it's bliss.
Also, makes me feel young again and that's always a good thing!!

Making a few adjustments so the site looks a little tidier at horrible resolutions like 800 by 600!!
Quite like the Christmas Crisis Santa, he might become a permanent fixture. Plus we need more Apprentice themes going on under Black Moon
