Which portable player is best?
Which portable player is the most user friendly when it comes to saving games (easy to change battery, memory card, etc...) I am afraid to rip open my Magnavox home player.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a 370, since my magnavox players battery is now dead. Do you know of anywhere that I could get it replaced, or am I stuck trying to do it an my own? (I have no electrical skills!) Is there any home console that is more reliable when it comes to battery life?

I think Trev is talking about the battery that powers the nvram. Otherwise I really misunderstood his question.
The newer the better are the chances that the battery is still working. But they weren't meant to last that long, so you can either buy a CD-i 370 or try to fix the Timekeeper chip (which holds the battery) yourself. Can't say how easy or hard it is, as I haven't done it myself so far.Is there any home console that is more reliable when it comes to battery life?
