Anything relating to CD-i can be discussed in this forum. From the multiple hardware iterations of the system to the sofware including games, reference, music and Video CDs. Maybe you hold an interest in Philips Media and the many development houses set up to cater for CD-i if so then this is the forum.

anyone ever listened to head crash triple pack?
I know 'eScape' was available on it's own, but were the others too? I never seen those on ebay or so. Neither the triple pack, coming to think of it.
Rare?

Individually i've seen them before but never as a compilation pack as pictured above.
Could possibly go for a bit on ebay no doubt, probably not as much as the initial RRP mind you

well the 'compilation pack' is nothing more than the carton which holds the titles. Nothing special. Those titles are actually pretty advanced for its time, reckoning the great graphics performances they captured on cd-i without the Digital Video Cartridge. The music, however, is quite dated, and probably appeals only to the 'retro' music lover.

But it still has it's own 811 0056 catalogue number (with the 3 CDs being 810 0110, 810 0117, 810 0170), cost me GBP 22.00 in the UK. Maybe I should listen to them one day, and experience the graphics. Memories of Jeff Minter popping up

I was not aware of one for the Jag! Doing a quick Google search I see the Jaguar CD has the VLM capabilities, that's pretty neat

in fact it´s the best aspect of the jagCD ... only a few games were released for it - but the ´virtual light machine´ alone is worth it. the 3do was capable of something similiar - but nothing beats the sheer coolness of the original ´atari video music´

! ... i have bought escape for the cdi some time ago - perhaps its time to test it

They had loads of these triple-packs at the final CD-i sale at the Philips employee store for little money (2.50). That's where I got mine.
