Sega mega cd

Hi all,

Anybody got any idea why my mega cd wont play cdr's ? works fine with originals but just goes to the audio player when i pop a cdr in ??

have you tried different CDR brands?

Yep ive tried 2 types are the drives a bit fussy then ?

I can imagine one brand working while another one does not. The older laser are often sensitive and not designed for CDR reading. Not much experience though, we're still in the experiment of trying which brand works best on cd-i players, as we've heard stories not every CDR works on CD-i as well (TDK, anyone

)

Not had any problems over here with regards to media on the cdi or the 3DO
Just the sega

Infact not even with the CD32.
